Here is the official way to calculate your Band Score in Listening and Reading IELTS. It's from Official IELTS website.
IELTS Listening and Reading paper contain 40 items and each correct item is awarded 1 mark. Band scores ranging from Band 1 to
Band 9 are awarded to candidates on the basis of their raw
scores.
The tablet below shows the mean raw scores achieved by the candidate at different levels in IELTS Listening, Academic and General Tranning Reading test and indicate the number of marks required to meet a particular band score.
